It is November. It doesn’t feel like it, but it is. The sun is shining and there are still some leaves on the trees, but Halloween is behind us and it is officially Winter now.
Autumn is my favourite season, with Spring a close second. Winter can be lovely too. But the darkness and drabness can be draining. We don’t get snow in this part of Germany, so there isn’t that excitement to look forward to either.
To raise my spirits today I am reflecting on the wonderful Autumn we have had. In the spirit of being grateful for what I have had and looking forward to a bright future, here’s a look back at Autumn and all it entailed.

See you next year Autumn!
Winter, let’s see what you’ve got in store for us.

Autumn also saw me writing several freelance articles on the subject of stay at home mothers, returning to work and the joys of a full house. I also contributed to a piece on celebrating Halloween abroad.
