I woke up this morning feeling generous and decided I would hold a little Easter giveaway today!
Having spent the past week thinking about Easter crafts and what new things to try this year, I thought I would share my favourite egg dye brand with you, because I will definitely be using it again this year. I have already bought several packs in preparation.
We have used Heitmann egg dye for years and years now and have always been really pleased with the results, not to mention the fun we have had deciding on the colours and techniques to use.
Â
The set contains five dyes. All you need to do is dissolve the dye tabs in water and vinegar (the instructions are on the back of the pack in several languages) and then the fun starts. You can create all kinds of patterns and designs on your eggs using simple techniques.
So here is your chance to win!
Just enter a comment on this post, letting me know your favourite Easter craft and you’ll be in with a chance to win one of these little sets. Feel free to share the giveaway details on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
If you want to leave a link to your own craft ideas, please do.
I’ll choose a winner on Monday 22nd. Good luck everyone! I am excited to hear about your crafts.

[Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. I bought and paid for the Heitmann set myself and the idea of the giveaway is all my own. All words, opinions and photos are my own too. I am just in a generous mood today.]
Oh they look so cool! We've really only stuck with baking at easter time but only yesterday the kids spotted loads of Easter crafting sets in town and informed me that this year we need to make more effort (!!!) I foresee lots of ribbons, glitter and sparkly paper on my table in place of little cakes adorned with chocolate eggs lol

These look so good – I'm not sure if I've ever seen an egg dying kit available over here, although they might be available in Hobbycraft maybe.
This is going to be the first year I will get to do Easter crafts with my son. I've tried in the past but he really didn't show any interest. I'm really looking forward to making some things with him! Xxx
It is simple but a lot of fun. Our boys never tire of it. We dye both hardboiled eggs and blown eggs.
Have fun with your sparkly things 🙂
Thanks Catherine. It is easy to do and gret fun too. I'm sure your son will enjoy it. White eggs work best, if you can get them, but brown ones dye well too.
Flashback to German class in the mid 90s! How retro!!
Last year was our first Easter bonnet parade! I totally forgot til 7am that morning so we'd to cobble together some completely non Easter related nonsense – but it was a bit cool!!
Ha ha! I remember that bonnet. Jungle theme or something like that?
Well ladies, it seems I am still in a generous mood. Everyone's a winner today. I'll be in touch with each of you to get your address so I can post you the egg dye sets.
I have been looking everywhere for these dyes. They are off the hook gorgeous. I am in MN, USA. Any idea about how I can get ahold of them?
Try Amazon Shelley. They have Paas dye tabs. They seem to be the same kind of dye.
