The other morning one of my good German friends called over for brunch and a last minute photo shoot. I urgently need a photo of me in the kitchen for an upcoming article and K kindly stepped in and played photographer in exchange for coffee and a late breakfast.
While I am rarely in the kitchen without my phone (my only camera), I use it largely for photos of the kids or our food. On this occasion I needed something better than a selfie. K is not a photographer and I am not a natural model, but we gave it a go.
I am a notorious eye-closer in photos, but K managed to get a few good shots of me with eyes open and a not-too-stiff pose. In a few days I’ll be able to share the chosen photo with you, but for now here are a few of the out takes.
